From the very beginning, the Oeuvre Notre-Dame has kept highly detailed inventories dealing with any restoration and repair work carried out, in order to ensure an ongoing programme of monitoring and maintenance, using the best possible techniques. The statue moulds accumulated over the years, some of which date back to the 13th century, are part of a unique historical legacy, comprising original plans, drawings and sketches, together with an extensive library which is accessible to researchers, and an impressive collection of photographs.
