Fifteen stone cutters, three sculptors, seven masons, a carpenter/joiner and a blacksmith perform the restoration and conservation work on the cathedral. The storage and processing of work funding, plans and years of accumulated documentation involves specific expertise; library classification, computing and database management, and the development of multimedia aids, which provides full time work for three people. The total workforce varies, from 30 to 40 people, depending on the work schedule.
