Acquired in 1832 by the Notre Dame Cathedral Foundation, on behalf of the City, the 292 recorded and preserved panels were, in part, re-installed into the cathedral (102 sections in 1862). Some of the 14th and 15th century stained glass windows which were fitted into the two north-east bays and the Saint Laurent Chapel.(small panels depicting Christ and His life), and the nine vaulted windows located in the gallery of the cathedral chevet.
